Parent Teacher meetings

There will be no school on April 1 due to parent-teacher meetings. A sign-up sheet will be on the table on Thursday. Meetings will be scheduled for every 15 minutes.

Tt is for Tea Party

We'll put on ties, top hats and tiaras and have a tea party on Thursday. Special stuffed friends are invited to share with us (as long as they don't eat too much), so feel free to send one with your child.

Ss Week ~~ 5 senses

We have been learning how God gave us five senses. Our senses let us enjoy things, learn about things and keep us safe. Last week our class talked about the sense of smell and sight. Looks like Max wasn't too crazy about the smell of onion! The class' favorite smells were chocolate and lemon. Rubbing alcohol was their least favorite by far. We decided the sense of smell was a good idea because if we smell smoke we can get to a safe place. On Thursday, we talked about sight and made pretend telescopes. We looked at several things, like leaves and sponges, with a magnifying glass. Our story was "The Lucky Glasses".

Star of the Week...TY

Ty was our Star of the Week last week. He is a bright and precious young man with such an engaging smile (as you can tell!). Ty's favorite color is red and he loves to sing "Goin' on a Bear Hunt". His favorite food is chicken nuggets.

Welcome Back Nolan

It was so good to have Nolan back in class with us on Tuesday. Nolan broke his arm and missed two weeks of school. We sure did miss him. Glad you're back on the mend, Nolan.

Pp is for Pretend!

I knew it had been a while since I had posted a blog....but I didn't realize it had been over a month! Hopefully, the March newsletter has helped keep you informed. I've traveled several long weekends lately to visit family and also have had family visit here, so I haven't made the time to blog.

Here are a couple of pics from February when we were studying the letter P. We played "pretend".
